       I am now working on loading star systems, it is rather boring to talk about, so sorry for the blog silence. I can not really test the way my ship works without giving me some way to load systems. I have also been trying to find a way to get more people interested in this game of mine.

          Gravity dose it again... Who would thing gravity would give me so much problems making a game that takes place in space?! So, I was making the ship I talked about a few days go, when I found out that if the ship rotates up or down, gravity for my player would not change. The ship could be upside down, and you would not.
          This is not good for a space game, and I took too much time trying to fix this. I asked on a unity asking site, and did not get any good answers yet. I may have come to a salutation of my own.... instead of rotating the ship, and moving the ship, why not rotate everything else, and move everything else.

          In the time I spent finding my answer to my small problem, I did work on the ship a little. I was thinking of the Borg when I made the outside of it....

          Today a new ship was made, the first in it's realm. I worked on make a ship, a Create class. This class of ship will most likely be for shaping planets, and only really used by people who are admins on whatever server you will use. Now, I do not mean to say YOU will never be able to fly a Create class ship, you will be able to run your own server, and I may make it an option in the start of a single player game.
          The ship will be made for a race of people that can fly, so there will be no lattes. sections will be more like open platforms, and there will be very little room for privacy. Not all ships will be like this, in mater of fact this type of layout should be rare, as the race is.
   
           I do not have the ship presentable at the moment, so there will be no pic today :(

          I worked on boring things today... thanks to a "clunk47 " I got gravity to poll ships to planets and stars. I also added something that tells you how far you are from a target, you will be able to select your target later.
          I have not heard from the friend that wanted to play the game, so I am not sure if I will release an extremely early alpha yet. it is still to early to release it.




          oh, and I saw a black winged butterfly... can only mean one thing, shinigami. There was no "Gas leak" accidents, so a hollow was not around... at least not a big one.

          Gravity, it is bringing me down... actually, the problem is that it is NOT bringing me down. I took on the fun fun task of trying to make gravitational polls to planets and stars,  and it showed me that I made my ships wrong. Gravity is not just a simple "move down Y" in space, it is a complicated task to program witch will take lots of thinking and testing.  or, at lest for me it is...
          I spent most of my day on the game today, and all I did was make the system look bigger, and completely messed up the way I move. I need to sit down and really think about this, and make use of Google...


          On a separate note, some people I know have been asking for a downloadable version of the game, even tho I do not have a 10th of it completed... I am thinking about giving them one, even if it is laughable now...

          so, I did a little work today, but I am more of a night owl and wanted to put something out before midnight. I was working on making my ship capable of being polled in by gravity into planets, when something really started to bug me.


          Now, this has been bugging me for a little while, but I sort of ignored it so I could play with other things, but not anymore. what is wrong? well, it may be necessary to show this then...


          I made the belt using a plain with a texture, and now I am questioning if that is all it takes to make a belt. The belt should not %100 disappear when you look at it at the wrong detection. I will probably make a cylinder and texture that... now, in time I will make asteroids, and I will add those to the belts, but for now I will just take the easy way.

          so, again, today has been too busy.... My pregnant cousin came over to visit, and I had to prepare for tai-kwon-do tonight. I just learned that it will take 6 months to test for my red belt, not 3. and again I do not want to leave my page blank for a day, so today I will talk about the system's blue star.


          Blue stars are the hottest stars, or so Google says, and should melt any ship that comes close to it. That being said, that gas giant not too far from it should be ignited.... I have no idea why I have not moved that gas giant yet, it has been bugging me for a little while....
           The star has come some way in the way of looks, just last week it was nothing more then a blue blob. I still am not the happiest with it, but I am okish with it. Maybe if I release an Alpha and people ask for improved stars, then I will fix it. for now, it is just me being like an artist seeing flaws in all of his masterpieces.
          You may have seen the word "hot" in the upper right hand corner of the picture. that indicates that you are a little too close to the star. It will go from 'hot" to "OVERHEAT" and then you will die. I am not sure how I will make the re-spawn system yet. I was thinking of using space stations as check points...
